When?

During your initial connection, all your conversations will be imported. This process takes approximately 30 seconds for every 100 conversations.

After the initial sync, new conversations will be imported every time you connect to Poked.

What’s the difference?

• Conversations (or threads): These represent the ongoing discussions between you and your connections.
• Messages: These are the individual pieces of content exchanged within a thread. We do not store this content.

Do we store messages?

No.

For your privacy, Poked stores your conversation threads but does not retain the content of your messages. Poked fetches the content of your messages only when you are actively viewing a conversation.
